TU Treks

TU Treks is a student organization that is designed to get students off campus and outdoors! We go camping. We play paintball. We jump at Sky Zone (which isn’t outdoors, but still a great time) and most recently, we went to Chandler Park to go rock climbing and geo-cashing. In case you aren’t familiar, geo-cashing is an activity in which people plug coordinates into a mobile device and then use those coordinates to find hidden treasures other geo-cashers have left behind.

And the rock climbing was amazing! You didn’t have to be an experienced rock climber to participate.

Going into the trip I didn’t know any. But by the end of the day I had met some really great people!

TU Treks also takes a spring break trip each year. Last year, the group went to San Antonio and visited Sea World where they got to pet the dolphins. This year we are going to New Mexico where we do some hiking and take a tour of a ghost town in Albuquerque.
