Holiday Festivities in ACAC

Brrr. It is cold in Tulsa! I managed to get out of my office and brave the cold long enough to get to the Allen Chapman Activity Center to enjoy some of the activities going on there today.

ACAC is decorated for the holidays.

First, I joined our student bloggers for lunch in the Faculty Club. Then, I stopped by the TU bookstore to enjoy my discount during Staff Appreciation Day.

I ran into some of my fellow admission bloggers enjoying the free cider and shopping!

If you don’t already know, The University of Tulsa does a lot of community service. One of our programs, True Blue Neighbors, partners TU with the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood so TU students, faculty and staff can focus a lot of their volunteer efforts nearby. Today, elementary students from Kendall Whittier visited campus to sing Christmas Carols in ACAC while students ate lunch!

Even Santa and his elves dropped by ACAC to join the festivities!

I’m glad I ventured out of my office to enjoy it. I had so much fun. Now back to work!
